Wonderful Winnie & Walter!

Brutus Monroe is hanging out with Winnie & Walter this month and we get to play too!  I’m loving these new stamps and had so much fun creating this card using the beautiful Anna’s Floras set!  I paired it with another lovely set called Renee’s Leaves AND their way-cool Multi-Faceted Creative Screenings stencil!  But I’m getting ahead of myself, so let’s back up…

The first thing I did for my card was to heat-emboss in black the large blossom from Anna’s Floras and some of Renee’s Leaves onto a piece of watercolor cardstock, then colored them in with Zig markers.  I fussy-cut them out and set them aside to create my background!

On a panel of white cardstock, I laid down the awesome stencil called Scenery and used a sponge dauber to lightly fill in the spaces with a pale green ink, filling just the center of the design.  I then stamped more of Renee’s Leaves over the stenciled design, and spattered on some black paint.  You know how much I love spatters!    After that, I layered on my fussy-cut blossom and leaves, adding a circlet of twine beneath them as an accent.  A strip of polka-dotted paper at the bottom was another cute accent, and I adhered the panel to a base card of Brutus Monroe’s lovely Lunchbag cardstock!  Voila!  When I’m ready to send this, I’ll add an appropriate sentiment!  Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out the other team members creations!  Look for Aletha,  Marie,  Berina and Waleska!  I’m loving their projects too!
